VASTU SUTRA: The famous Meenakshi temple has a lotus pond in the South-east zone. South -east is Agni kshetra and having a pond in this area does not make sense. Even the famous harmandir sahib does not have the Amrit Kunda in North-east. I wonder who coined this idea that North-east area should be lower and carry some water body. In fact, The tirupati devsthanam has Pushkarini tank in the North-east. This means that even in ancient times some temples or religious places were not constructed with vastu in mind. Tirupathi Balaji is definitely been built with vastu in mind.
