VASTU SUTRA: Never keep idols inside the temple in your house. Parthiv Objects like Shaligram ji, shivlingam, moorti or statue demand regular and proper care. A single mistake on your part in this case can lead to problems with generations.
Photos are allowed inside a temple. According to real vastu (Mayamttam) temple cannot be build within a premise of a house. That is the very reason why forts like Amber which are built according to vastu are having temple outside the rajaprasad or residential complex. The temple of Shila Devi is outside the residential part. People who do not follow this rule often lend up in serious troubles of mental afflictions and psychological problems. This is referred as Deva dosha which can be seen in the horoscope.
